The onset of an asthma attack threatens Shannon’s life, and the only man who can help her is Sawyer, whom Boone believes stole her inhalers from the fuselage. When Sawyer refuses to help, Jack must decide whether to resort to violence to retrieve the medicine. Sayid is forced into a similar decision when Locke becomes the prime suspect in the attack that destroyed his radio equipment.

Charlie goes through a personal crisis, while Jack is trapped by a cave-in. The castaways struggle to free Jack, while Kate and Sayid attempt to triangulate the French broadcast - but their exploration is thwarted by a mysterious attack.

Jin, a Korean castaway who speaks no English, assaults Michael, seemingly without provocation. Sayid resolves the conflict by handcuffing him to the wreckage. Jack’s decision to move to the caves causes division among the castaways, and Sun, Jin’s wife must decide whether or not to free her husband… at the cost of revealing a long-hidden secret.

While bordering on exhaustion, Jack repeatedly sees a mysterious man watching him from afar. He asks the other survivors if they’ve seen him, too, but no one has. Haunted by the strange vision, Jack follows the man, only to recognize him as someone to whom he was very close. Meanwhile, the water supply runs dangerously low - a situation that erupts into violence when someone steals the last remaining bottles.

A social agent slips and falls on the wet floor. In order to prevent her from suing the hospital Kelso puts JD to babysit her while she gets her ecogram done. Her face isn;t visible but she has a sexy body and voice, in the end JD will take her out for dinner.

Meanwhile Elliot and dr Cox have lots of trouble at the intensive care section, they do overtime, save lots of people, but in the last 5 minutes a guy dies so they have to do one more shift.

It’s Christmas eve, lots and lots of patients. A guy has been in coma for 2 weeks with no improvement and when JD shows up the guy suddenly wakes up. Turk starts busting JD’s balls saying that a miracle happened. Turk really gets into the Christmas spirit, but he has to work his ass off because of all the patients and gets almost no rest. JD has to film the dr. Cox’s friend’s boy, but he records on a full tape. Cox yells at him, and to make things right he switches the tape. Cox and his wife really connect this time.

When Turk thinks he lost his faith in God he looks at the shining star on the Christmas tree down-town and he runs there saving the youg girl who gives birth to a baby that night.

The Janitor thinks out a nickname for JD: Scooter, and this will haunt him to the end of the episode.

JD fights with Carla, but things will eventually work out.

Turk and Kelso battle for the bench in front of the hospital, and turk will take the prize.

JD and turk go to a bar in a night, and Turk tries to hook up JD with a hot chick, but JD blews it, because he has a pain in his right side, and gets to the hospital, not as a doctor, but as a patient. As usual the janitor welcomes him “warmly”.

It turns out he has appendicitis , and that he will be operated by Turk. He’s scared and chooses an other resident to do it, but the situation gets critical and he gets operated by Turk, everything going well.

DR Cox’s mentor gets into the hospital, Kelso hates him but fakes to be nice, in the end Cox’s mentor will admit that Kelso is a jerk.

Elliot finds out the harsh truth: that she’s a great doctor, but her examinations suck.

Nikki digs out a dead guy, and takes the skull ring off his finger. Jackie brags to Noah(Claire’s dad) about saving that man from the fire(Calire saved the man).

Hiro teleports back to past and tries to explain to Ando what happened.

Peter tries to fly again, but this time he’s jumping off a pole and not a building, he doesn’t succeed. Parkman proves to the fed agent that he can read thoughts. They decide to keep it a secret.

Hiro stops time and saves a little girl from getting killed by a truck. By this he proves to Ando that he’s telling the truth.

Mohinder discovers his father’s research. Sylar goes after the little girl, but Parkman and the agent save her.

Hiro and Ando head towards Las vegas in a Nissan.

A series of flashbacks reveals a secret that Locke has kept hidden from the other passengers. Meanwhile, the bodies inside the plane need to be disposed of, but how? Jack decides the most effective way of doing so, but it’s grisly. When the castaways realize that the food supply is running out, Locke has a suggestion.
